Butch, Sundance, Bolivia, Tourism

The Real Butch Cassidy
(photo not taken in 1969)

Jean Friedman-Rudovsky is one of my fave Bolivian commentators, as she's always on the lookout for the angle that explains more about her subject country. She has a new article out in Time Magazine about the nascent tourist attraction being built up around the scene of Butch Cassidy's and Sundance Kid's death in Bolivia that's well worth a read (and kudos to Pan American Silver (PAAS) for helping the initiative).
