Trading Post (pair trades edition)

Freeport (FCX) up 5.9% at $41.30, Southern Copper (PCU) up 4% at $17.40. How you wanna compare the two stocks? The three month chart....
...or the six month chart?
Either way, FCX is making this call back on December 7th look like I actually know what I'm on about. Just lucky I guess.

Merval up 3.72% at 1,109 and Bovespa up 4.76% at 41,985. Y'see, it's not just the northern markets; we're having lotsa phoney phinancial phun down here, too.

Ventana Gold (VEN.to) up 2.1% at $1.46 and Greystar (GSL.to) down a penny at $4.00. Both these companies have been on a real tear recently. They also happen to be neighbours digging for gold in the same part of Colombia, too (though GSL.to is much further down the development track). To the reader who bought VEN.to in the 60s I now say "take those profits, dude" (you know who you are).
