So many things have been said on whether gold will go up or down from the $1,000/oz level, but for me its goose was cooked, the party was over, the arrow set firmly South and the four figure days numbered with the publication of this article and its title line "Gold Outlook: Explosion in the Price of Gold Imminent in an Interview with John Embry". Nuff said.
Great Panther (GPR.to) down 4.4% at $0.88 but holding on to its recent rush-up gain quite well. This one isn't for me. I don't like the puny production and I don't like the high cost profile and I don't like the debt and I don't like the BS promo style. However at $16/oz Ag it must be making a profit now, so the move is understandable...I suppose...leverage and all that.
Fortuna Silver (FVI.v) up 5% at $1.47 on good volume. This one is for me. Safer, good growth, lower cost profile, good management. All you could wish for in a small miner and going higher according to my casio. Less of a speculation, more of an investment.
First Majestic (FR.to) down 3% at $2.60. Finishing up this small silver producing triptych, this company has the most interesting newsflow of the day in this PR with FR.to buying out Normabec (NMB.v) in an all stock deal. Matters arising from this will be the subject of a section of next week's IKN Weekly.
Exeter Resources (XRC.v) up 7.1% at $4.69. Never mind the quality, feel the width.
Dia Bras (DIB.v) down 3.9% at $0.125 and it's back to a place where it's worth considering. I think this thing is cheapy cheap cheap cheap right here and The IKN Weekly has already delved into the financial and project details to show why.
Constitution Mining (CMIN.ob) down 4.8% at $1.19 and was way way downer earlier. Lord only knows why anyone would be stupid enough to buy this back up intraday on a chart that looks like this.
