I will return, and I will be millions

Just before his execution on November 15th 1781, Tupac Katarí, leader of a rebellion that laid siege to the city of La Paz for around six months, looked his executioners in the eye and said, "You will only kill me, but I will return and I will be millions."

It's been 227 years and one day, but I get the feeling Tupac would be content with the current President of Bolivia. Via the ballot, not the bullet.

UPDATE:
Abiding in Bolivia has found a musical tribute to Tupac Katarí.
