Trading Post (I could get used to all this green edition)

Jaguar Mining (JAG) has decided to shake itself down, pick itself up and get back to where it once belonged, Jojo. Up 17% at $2.64 and one happy writer. FYI I've pared down the position slightly and taken some profits...about a quarter of stock held has gone, leaving a still chunky position chez Otto.

GLD doing well, too. $81.1 and I'm up 10% on the half I held. It's all good, it's all good. I'm going to hold through for a while, even though I suspect today's broad market bounce won't have much in the way of legs.

More juicy gains in Fortuna Silver (FVI.v) too. The stock is getting a good kick from the 8% jump in silver spot. FVI.v up 16.7% at $0.63, though volumes aren't so very hot.

I had to giggle when I saw the MM pump Exeter Resource (XRC.to) up tons at $1.92 this morning. Now at $1.69 and volumes low. This thing might be worth a buck or so, not much more.

The copper sisters are rocking. PCU and FCX both up 10%...it's kinda normal for those guys to move 10% either way these days, no?

IMHO the best performance today is Capstone (CS.to), up a very sexy 23.5% on good volume. The market loved the news that the fusion between it and Sherwood is now a done deal. Sherwood stocks get delisted tomorrow and the CS.to ticker and Capstone name rides on. Here's the link to the PR, and it's required reading for anyone into miners.

And a round of applause for Gold Hawk (CGK.v), winning the 'percentage gainers' stakes with its 66% pop today, coming on the back of news that buyers are sniffing round the company.
